Welcome to the Department of Chemistry at SRM University, AP. Our mission is to create a research-focused learning environment that nurtures curiosity, innovation, and excellence in chemistry. For new faculty, we offer a vibrant research culture, excellent facilities, and collaborative support to excel in teaching and establishing independent research. In a short amount of time, we have established state-of-the-art computational, material, organic synthesis, and colloidal chemistry laboratories. Currently, our department is conducting research projects funded by ANRF, DST SERB, NSM, TARE, Ramanujan faculty, and INSPIRE faculty etc. Additionally, we are collaborating with Amaraja Battery Center on a project worth more than 1 Crore. Together, we are committed to advancing knowledge and preparing the next generation of chemists who will influence science and society worldwide.
