Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SRM University-AP.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is committed to academic excellence, innovation, and research-driven learning. We offer undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes that prepare students to build strong foundations in computing and develop the skills required for the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Our department focuses on a balanced learning approach that connects theory with practice. We strongly encourage project-based learning, student-driven activities, hands-on training, research exposure, and interdisciplinary problem-solving. Rather than limiting learning to conventional classroom teaching, we aim to create an active academic environment where students learn by designing, developing, experimenting, and applying technology to real-world challenges.
We also place strong importance on department-level clubs, technical communities, innovation activities, and leadership opportunities. These platforms help students improve their technical abilities, teamwork, communication, creativity, and professional confidence. Through an industry-oriented curriculum, research culture, and exposure to emerging technologies, we strive to prepare our students for higher studies, entrepreneurship, research careers, and global professional opportunities.
