Prof. Atif Iqbal
Qatar University
Professor Atif Iqbal is a full Professor of Electrical Engineering at Qatar University, an IEEE Fellow, and a globally renowned researcher in power electronics, electric drives, renewable energy, and smart grid systems. He holds a Ph.D. from Liverpool John Moores University (UK) and a D.Sc. from the Gdansk University of Technology (Poland). With over 600 publications, four books, and eight patents to his credit, he has consistently been ranked among the top 2% of highly cited scientists worldwide since 2019. He serves as a Senior Editor for IEEE Access and an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and has received numerous research excellence awards from Qatar University for his contributions to the field.
Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Parida

Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Parida:
Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Parida is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the IIT Patna, where he has been a faculty member since 2009. He earned his Ph.D. in Power Systems from IIT Kanpur in 2009.
Dr. Parida’s research expertise spans several critical areas in modern power systems, including power system operation and control, microgrid stability and control, demand-side management, wide-area protection, and the integration of renewable energy sources. He has published extensively, with 65 papers in leading international journals (IEEE, IET, Elsevier) and 95 conference presentations to his credit.
He has led and contributed to ten major sponsored R&D projects as Principal Investigator or Co-PI, funded by prestigious agencies including the SERB, DST, MeitY, and MHRD.
He has co-edited the book Power Electronics and High Voltage in Smart Grid: Select Proceedings of SGESC 2021 published by Springer and maintains strong industrial collaborations with Grid-India, PGCIL, and NTPC.
Dr Hashmat Malik
University of Technology, Malaysia
Dr. Hasmat Malik is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Power Engineering at the UTM Malaysia and a recognized expert in the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics to power systems and renewable energy. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (IETE). He earned his Ph.D. in Power Systems from the IIT Delhi, and his M.Tech. from the NIT Hamirpur.
Dr. Malik has over a decade of experience, having served as an Assistant Professor at NSIT, Delhi, and as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the BEARS Singapore in collaboration with the University of California, Berkeley, and the National University of Singapore (NUS). He has authored or co-authored over 100 research articles and edited numerous books with publishers like IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier. His contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the POSOCO Power System Award (PPSA-2017) for his Ph.D. research.
Dr Vigya Saxena
Siemens Energy, India
Dr. Vigya is a manager at Siemens Energy. Previously, she worked as a Scientist at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad. Her primary research interests lie in the areas of power system quality and control, OT cybersecurity, high performance computing. Beyond her research, she is executive committee member for IEEE women in engineering and she has participated as a speaker in various conferences discussing professional growth and industrial readiness.
