Overview

SRM University – AP, Andhra Pradesh in association with Confederation of Indian Industry, Andhra Pradesh (CII-AP) is organizing Industry – Academia Summit at SRM University-AP campus. The summit aims to bring industry and academic institutes from the southern states of India such as Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry, Kerala and Karnataka, closed to a common platform where they would discuss to foresee the potential of using academic research/innovations for the benefit of the industry.

The summit enables discussions on

  • The challenges that industries are facing in their R&D and how academic research could help?
  • The expertise that the academic researchers has and how it can be converted into industrial application?
  • The expertise do industries expect from the academic researchers
  • Building an interface for a sustainable research collaboration between industries & academic institutes
