Research Asian Consortium on Computational Materials Science – Global Research Centre (ACCMS-GRC)

Overview

The Asian Consortium on Computational Materials Science – Global Research Centre (ACCMS-GRC) is an inter/multi-disciplinary centre. The primary motivations of this centre are as follows:

Core Research Areas

Who can use

All students, research scholars and faculty across the University can access the HPCC facilities at ACCMS-GRC.

Access to the Machine

Fill in the HPCC registration form, send it to the ACCMS-GRC coordinator for approval and further follow-up process.

Vision

To be at the forefront of innovation and discovery, leveraging advanced supercomputing capabilities. We aim to foster collaborative, interdisciplinary research in diverse scientific and technological areas.

Our Vision

To be at the forefront of innovation and discovery, leveraging advanced supercomputing capabilities. We aim to foster collaborative, interdisciplinary research in diverse scientific and technological areas.

Our Mission

  • Promote the advancement of computational materials science across Asian countries.
  • Support research and innovation in materials modelling, simulation, and AI/ML-driven materials discovery.
  • Develop and disseminate advanced computational methodologies such as DFT, molecular dynamics, Monte Carlo, and machine learning approaches.
  • Foster collaboration between theorists, experimentalists, and data scientists to accelerate the discovery and design of novel materials.
  • Strengthen education, training, shared computational resources, and international partnerships in computational materials science.
  • Member Countries/Areas

India, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia (Siberia), Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, etc.

    Associate Member Countries/Areas

Australia, Canada, European countries (Germany, France, Italy,…), Mexico, South Africa, South America (Brazil, Argentina,…), USA.
Asian Consortium in Computational Materials Science – Global Research Centre (ACCMS-GRC) will work closely with the Working Group members and senior members of ACCMS. Currently, ACCMS has 12 Working Group members, 45 Core members and 207 Regular members. ACCMS-GRC will consult with senior members and make ACCMS an international society in India. ACCMS-GRC will work as a nodal point for ACCMS to work closely with members and member countries.
