About the Summit

SRM University-AP is organising the second edition of its prestigious Research Scholars’ Summit on December 20 – 21, 2024. The aim of this summit is to highlight the latest research trends in universities and educational institutes from across India, providing scholars from diverse research backgrounds the ideal platform to exchange ideas and information. The summit seeks to uphold its motto of “inspire, ignite, and innovate”, helping the country’s young research community pursue cutting-edge research and build impactful careers. The summit will promote interdisciplinary and collaborative research and boost connections among academicians and researchers.

The Summit is open to research scholars of SRM University-AP as well as universities and institutions from all over India. There will be parallel sessions for oral as well as poster presentations from each thematic area, to showcase cutting-edge research work from diverse fields. The work of participants will be evaluated by a committee of experts, and the best presentations will receive prizes and certificates. Both full-time and part-time researchers are eligible to submit and present their research works. However, all work must be original and free of plagiarism.

The details and timeline for registration, submission, and fee payment for different categories of researchers are mentioned in the event brochure. The decision to accept or reject abstracts will be overseen by a panel of expert reviewers and intimated to research scholars via email.

Call for Abstracts

Researchers from Indian universities, institutions and colleges are eligible to submit and present their research works.

Following are the rules for abstract submission:

Travel Info

The SRM University–AP, Amaravati campus is located between the cities Vijaywada and Guntur. It can be reached from various parts of the country in several ways:

By Rail

Those coming from other states of India by train, should get down at the Vijaywada railway station (railway code: BZA), which is well connected with almost all parts of the country. One can also use the Guntur railway station (code: GNT). From the stations, you need to get a taxi to come to the SRM University campus.

By Air

The nearest airport (about 45km) is the Vijaywada international airport (IATA: VGA). You need to get a taxi from the airport to get to the SRM University campus.

By Bus

The buses operated by APSRTC from Pandit Nehru bus station and NTR bus station connect the city with Vijaywada and Guntur respectively.
