About SRM University-AP

The SRM University-AP is organising the first research scholar’s summit with the collaboration of Government of Andhra Pradesh on 13th April 2024. The objective of the summit is to exhibit the current trends in the research activities at the different educational institutes and Universities in the region of Guntur cluster. It provides a platform for exchange of ideas among the participants from a diversified research background. The summit aims to inspire, ignite, and innovate young research community to pursue a career in research filed. The goal of the summit is to foster interactions among scholars, researchers, and academicians and to showcase their cutting-edge work. It also promotes interdisciplinary and collaborative research among the various academic Universities participating in the summit. This forum will disseminate the research ideas to a wider audience and will facilitate the implication of the innovations for developing a better society.

The Conclave is open to the PhD scholars of SRM University-AP and other universities and institutions in Guntur and Vijayawada cluster. There will be parallel sessions of Research Groups for Oral presentations. The experts will evaluate presentations of each participant and the best presentation (from each Research Group) will be awarded with prize and certificate. The PhD Scholars (both full time and part time) are eligible to submit and present their paper. Further, the poster sessions are also placed to showcase the cutting-edge work in diverse field.

Abstract submission on the original work of research scholar is invited as per timeline mentioned in 1st Research Scholar’s Summit: Inspire, Ignite, Innovate brochure. The decision of abstract acceptance will be judged by a panel of expert reviewers and intimated to the research scholar. Call for Abstract

  • The Ph.D. Scholars (both full time and part time) of the Institute and other universities and institutions in Guntur and Vijayawada cluster are required to submit and present their papers.
  • Abstract must be submitted with less than 20% similarity/plagiarism report.
  • The abstract should not exceed one page.
  • Best Research Paper Award (Based on Presentation) will be selected by the Evaluation Committee from each group.

Call for Abstracts

Ph. D scholars (both full time and part time) from SRM University-AP and other Indian universities and institutions are eligible to submit and present their papers. They must keep in mind the following rules:

  • The abstract should not exceed one page.
  • The abstracts must be submitted along with a similarity/plagiarism report (showing less than 20% plagiarism).
  • The decision of abstract acceptance will be in the hands of a panel of experts and will be intimated to the scholars via email.
  • A Best Research Paper Award (based on presentation) will be selected by the Evaluation Committee created for each group.

SRM AP Solve-a-Thon

The SRM AP Solve-a-Thon is an exciting innovation marathon designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving among budding researchers and technologists. Organised as part of the 3rd Research Scholars’ Summit at SRM University-AP, this solve-a-thon will challenge participants to develop impactful, solution-oriented innovations addressing real-world problems.

The solve-a-thon will provide a platform for scholars to brainstorm, prototype, and present innovative ideas, leveraging interdisciplinary approaches and modern tools. Teams will be evaluated on creativity, technical feasibility, scalability, and potential impact.

With a blend of competitive spirit and collaborative learning, SRM  AP  solve-a-thon aims to nurture innovation culture, highlight cross-domain problem solving, and encourage participants to push the boundaries of research-driven applications. Winners will receive recognition, certificates, and an opportunity to further develop their solutions with expert mentorship.
